So you've finished your site and you’re ready to unleash it on the world at large. There are thousands of search engines and directories - some of which charge for submission. In our experience, these are the only ones in which it is worth investing your time - and they're all free:

Be careful of sites that offer to submit your website to 100's or 1000's of online directories. These can sometimes have a negative effect on your search engine ratings.
