Content Management Systems

A content management system (CMS) enables you to update your website without any knowledge of coding. You can use a CMS to change text on your website, upload photos, add news articles, write blog posts, change menus and update prices.

Content management systems are suitable if you want to update your website frequently and are comfortable using computer software.

The content management system we use depends on the structure and complexity of your site, the type of information you want to edit and how often you need to edit it. If you need to make small text changes to static pages, add news stories and upload images, we can develop a simple, custom-built system that allows you to make changes online quickly and easily.

If you would like a fully functional blog that allows you to add pages and articles, upload photos & video and manage comments, we can build your site in a tried and tested system such as WordPress.

If you want to upload images and maintain a gallery or portfolio, we have developed a content management system specifically designed for managing images. Alternatively, we can integrate your site with a image sharing site such as Flickr. For more information see Galleries & Portfolios

During the initial consultation, most people say they want the ability to update their website. However, it's not for everyone. WordPress sites
	Tru Systems Tru Systems supply UK machine builders with automation products. The site features a slideshow, email newsletter signup and news area.
	Sporty Totz Sporty Totz run activity programmes for children of early school age. The site uses WordPress as a CMS to enable the client to add content to the site. This is currently a work in progress.
	Where2Walk Where2walk presents the best walks in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The site uses WordPress as a CMS to enable the client to add content to the site.
	High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre High Adventure is an Outdoor Education Centre in Cowling nr Skipton. The site was built in WordPress enabling the customer to make changes and additions.
	de culinaire werkplaats This site for an Amsterdam restaurant was developed in WordPress allowing the client to update the site and post news articles in two languages.
	Classic Ink & Mods Classic Ink & Mods is a tattoo & piercing studio in Amsterdam. We built the site in WordPress enabling the client to update the site and add news and events.
Custom CMS sites
	Trucmuche Trucmuche sells unique hand-crafted objects made from materials washed up at the seaside. The design uses layered wood, rust, sand and flaking paint textures. The site features an image gallery which the client is able to update herself.
	Ann Reynolds A re-design for Ann Reynolds - Home Economist and Food Stylist. A clean, fresh design using the very latest coding techniques (HTML5 and CSS3). The site looks great in all browsers but is best viewed in Chrome or Sarafi. It features an image gallery which the client is able to update herself.
	Sleep Biz The Sleep Council’s new website created specifically for bed retailers, manufacturers and suppliers. We developed a simple CMS that enables to client to update the news page.
	Furniture Makers Press Centre A microsite for The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. The site contains press releases covering all the latest news about the Company’s various activities and an image library. A custom built, simple CMS enables to client to add press releases and images.
	Atlantic Wave Boat Sales Atlantic Wave are specialists in new and used boat sales. For this site, we built a custom admin system that enables the client to add, edit & manage the boat listings.
	Garden Designer Leeds The site showcases the client's beautiful gardens using her own photos and plans. It features a gallery (linked to Flickr) that enables the client to change and add content to as her business develops.
	British Furniture Confederation The British Furniture Confederation acts a single voice for the UK furniture, furnishing and bed industries The site is integrated with a custom content management system that enables to client to update all pages on the site.
